Marriage At Believers

We believe that the marriage relationship between one biological man and one biological woman is divinely appointed by God as the foundation for society. Marriage is the means God established for intimacy of relationship that is an essential part of the happiness and well-being of men and women, and the basis for the family. The church upholds the standard that marriage is intended to be a lifetime commitment between one man and one woman. 

At Believers Church, we are committed to ensuring that couples pursuing marriage are set up for success - spiritually, relationally, and practically. We desire every marriage to be firmly built on a foundation of Jesus Christ, strengthened through biblical teaching, intentional preparation, and ongoing support within the local church.

Guidelines for Having a Believers Church Pastor Officiate Your Wedding

  • Both the bride and groom are expected to personally follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, living out a committed relationship with Him.

  • The couple is required to complete marriage mentoring with a Believers Church–approved mentoring couple. This typically includes 4–5 sessions, scheduled 2–3 months prior to your wedding day.

  • The couple is expected to be actively engaged in the life of Believers Church. This includes but is not limited to attending services regularly, faithfully tithing, participating in church activities, and serving in ministry as able.

Once you connect with us, we will share the next steps & reach out to you. We want to help you prepare for a strong, Christ-centered marriage.

This will include

  • Marriage Mentorship and Assessments.
  • Online Courses (for example, Alpha Marriage or other recommended curriculum)
  • Discussion Guides, Questionnaires, Book Recommendations, and Podcasts to spark meaningful conversations

Our team will follow up with you regularly and provide support tailored to your journey.
