This is our story!
How it Started...
In 2007 - 2008 The Bustard Family felt like God was calling them to Manitoba, during the drive across the Manitoba border, Pastor Wayne felt that God spoke to him saying " I am bringing you into a greater calling and anointing, bigger than you have ever known". It was a couple years after coming to Manitoba when Pastor Wayne took the role as Lead Pastor. Under Pastor Wayne's ministry God has been moving mightily at our Church. We have seen many water baptized, many people restored back to Jesus, and countless lives changed because of the power of the Gospel.
Expanding the vision..
It was during the covid 19 pandemic that we decided to expand our vision and change our church name. During the pandemic we relaunched as "Believers Church".
God has been faithful through covid 19, we saw the church relaunched, grow, and many lives changed.
Part of expanding the vison and relaunching was making the decision of what kind of church we wanted to be. In 2023 there are many styles of church, many churches and many different denominations. We thank God for every truth preaching church and ministry that leads people to Jesus but we decided we want to be a modern day, book of Acts church, hence the name - Believers.
Where we are headed...
Our desire for Believers Church is to see God touch every life that comes through our services and to see a multi-cultural, multi-generational church that believes in the power of the Holy Spirit raised up in this generation.
We want to be a church that is real and relevant, but also a church that believes in the same Gospel power that the apostles experienced in the book of Acts.
